For ages, people have
been among the society. Education has different perspective so educators and
researcher always improve different methods , approaches for facilatating
understanding wondering that what is knowledge? and how can people acquıre
knowledge? forwhy they improved many theories,aproaches and thougts . All these
developments are for enhancing knowledge. Philosopy and philosophers are the
basis of the knowledge and education at the same time but education has different situation from
knowledge so philosopy and thinkers have not sufficient lighting and knowledge.
In philosophy gives importance only to absolute knowledge . Following this,many
approaches put forward such as behaviorism ,direct method or constructivism .
nowadays, constructivism is so popular since the World and World ‘s
perspectives are changing day by day.
Constructivism sembolizes both constructing knowledge and improving excess of
your comment to knowledge.
In old times ,education is lıke a transfer between educator
and learner or learners are like a
recorder which is recording educator’s discourse. Information is the most
significiant of the education .learners can not add any comment to information
and their responsibility is related to take information and memorise. On the
other hand constructivism came to existence in 20th century. It has been
upholding that learner has ground of realistic knowledge and metaphysical
knowledge . Learner is able to mix all clues
about knowledge and create own special permanent knowledge . especially
in foreign language learning ,it has very important role because it leads to
improve their knowledge with their enviroments .
People have confusion about epistemology and constructivism
because they have resemble to each other but ıt has a big difference .Epistemology is interested in mere knowledge but
constructivism is appertaining to process knowledge . ıt focuses on creating
,making and process. Product or knowledge
is main factors of epistemology ,we can not talk about process in epistemology so it is
seen as a short and temporary learning .To sum up,epistemology should not
confuse with constructivism.
Group work is another important factor of constructivism
which is concerned with communucation and interaction of group members. Because
it leads to give change doing discussion and idea exchange . Learners can
determine own right way with help of other ideas. They are able to reach
different perspectives and catch change
of evaluation these perspectives with own perspectives.In conclusıon,
constructivism is about finding and improving yourself in group .
As a consequence, constructivism helps developing ideas of
learner . In deveolping World ,producing is more important
than learning. If human uses knowledge being learned ,human can obtain
real and useful knowledge . constructivism helps to learn how to use
information ,data and knowledge. Learners are come centre with help of
constructivisim in education life.
